Social Butterflies

Families with children between 1-5 years old, will receive developmental services to increase the child’s social and emotional development, address mental health and behavioral health needs, and receive parenting education.

This complementary intervention and support activities enhances parents ability to ensure their child’s appropriate development throughout all five components of social-emotional learning:

• Self-management

• Responsible decision making

• Relationship skills

• Social awareness

Early intervention in the pre-school years through increased parental knowledge, addressing developmental needs, and stabilizing the family environment, will allow children to enter elementary school better prepared to succeed.
