Celebrating exemplary students
Our Lady of Hope Service Society
Our Lady of Hope Service Society celebrates high school students who put their faith into action by serving their neighbors, and Hope Ball honors these young leaders for bringing hope to their communities.
Our Lady of Hope Service Society is a service and leadership program of Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph. It invites high school students to put their faith into action by serving their neighbors and sharing God's love through acts of compassion and service. This program celebrates young people who are helping build stronger, more hopeful communities.
Each year, outstanding juniors and seniors who live out these values may be nominated for recognition. Those selected are honored and presented to the Bishop during Hope Ball, a special evening that celebrates faith, service, and the impact young people can have on the world around them.
Hope Ball features a seated dinner, an inspiring mission moment, recognition of student service, a beautifully choreographed presentation, a parent-child spotlight dance, and a joyful evening of celebration. Together, we celebrate students who are bringing hope to their communities through lives of service.
