At Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph, we can help you prepare for your job search, find employment and progress in your career.
A decent job is vital to maintaining a healthy, stable life. Part of our mission is to extend the tools and resources necessary to helping vulnerable populations (ex-offenders, those struggling with poverty, seniors, discouraged workers, etc.) find and keep work.
In our Job Skills classes, we provide:
- Employment preparation
- Resume development
- Job search strategies
- Interview coaching
- Networking opportunities/job leads
- Bus passes (as needed)
In today’s job market, “soft skills” are as frequently requested from prospective employers as hard skills, therefore we also provide training in:
- Self-esteem
- Self-advocacy
- Conflict resolution
- Time management
- Job retention strategies

Employment Services Workshop is every Tuesday from 10 am to noon at our Kansas City office. There is no registration or cost, just come and take advantage of this opportunity!
