Catholic Charities is pleased to host a “wine and wisdom” gathering with local financial advisor, Bill Eckert, entitled “Tax Reducing Strategies for Pre- and Post-Retirees.”  Bill will highlight current opportunities, including how to reduce income taxes and capital gain taxes, how to receive significant tax deductions for up to five years, how to protect your IRA from double taxation, and how to maintain your income. There will also be a wine tasting during the event featuring amazing wines you can get here locally.

I am inviting you to attend one of his presentations. The first one will take place on Tuesday, March 21st 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at the Catholic Charities offices located at 4001 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, Suite 250, Kansas City, MO. The second one will take place the following day, on Wednesday, March 22nd 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at the  Community America Credit Union located at 11501 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO.  Seating will be limited so everyone can enjoy the wine tasting be sure to RSVP as soon as possible.

Both presentations will have a short social beginning at the times designated above prior to the presentation. The presentation will last approximately one hour and there will be opportunities for questions and socializing after the presentation as well.  Light fare and drinks will be served at both events.

Previous attendees have consistently said that the information and examples provided were incredibly informative and helpful and they learned many new strategies they had not heard before that will benefit them in their retirement.

It is my hope that this presentation will open new possibilities for our parishioners on how they can utilize current strategies to increase their giving to charitable organizations while also maintaining their current level of retained income.

If you have questions or would like to RSVP to attend, please call Liz Stellhorn at (816) 659-8308 or email her at lstellhorn@ccharities.com.

Thank you for your consideration as well as the generosity you show toward our ministries and many other worthwhile non-profit entities in our community.

In Christ,

Karen Noel
