Press Release: Catholic Charities of Kansas City- St. Joseph Receives $10,000 Grant from U.S. Bank Foundation
KANSAS CITY, MO, November 20, 2024 – Catholic Charities of Kansas City- St. Joseph (CCKCSJ) a nonprofit organization that offers free financial literacy and employment services workshops, today announced it has received a $10,000 Community Possible grant from the U.S. Bank Foundation.
“Creating equitable opportunities for our community requires resources, and we appreciate the support from the U.S. Bank Foundation, which helps us continue to build and expand the innovative programs we’re proud to offer,” said Kisha Thomas, Director of Welcome Center and Food Pantry.
CCKCSJ aims to empower the St. Joseph community with free workshops. Financial Literacy classes are offered at our St. Joseph location the second Wednesday of every month at 10:30am. Employment Services classes are offered in St. Joseph every Tuesday from 10am until noon.
