The Junior Board is a group of young adults (21+) committed to promoting the vision and mission of Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph through volunteer service, social networking, stewardship and spiritual enrichment.
Annually, the Board plans and hosts Soiree
A fundraising evening featuring live music and food that also offers an opportunity for other young professionals to hear about Catholic Charities’ mission. The group also hosts a December Tacky Sweater party to raise funds for school supplies for two urban core elementary schools.
Members’ primary motivation for joining the Junior Board is to become more involved in the work of Catholic Charities and to give back to the community.
The Junior Board is currently comprised of hundreds young adult members, with countless friends who attend our events and volunteer with us.
