Many Starfish Need Many Star Throwers

The Bible tells us in Matthew 25:35, 40 this is what being a star thrower means. Putting on the heart of Christ means serving the least among us whether hungry or thirsty, help getting over sickness, or in bad situations. Christ did not come to be among the highest in society, but as a lowly servant seeking to save the isolated and cast out. The manger and shepherds were symbols of that, that even the simplest of situations can bring about the greatest of miracles.

Senior and Disabled Housing

Your housing needs may change as you get older. Or maybe you have a disability that requires better accessibility or special services. When you decide it’s time for you or a family member to make a move, choosing the right environment with the right services is an important decision.

Catholic Charities offers a variety of affordable living options for older adults and people with disabilities. Social service coordinators help residents with questions about insurance, medical bills and benefits.

Veteran Services

Catholic Charities has a long tradition of serving our nation’s veterans. If you served in the military and are in a housing crisis or need help, call immediately.

Our veterans services programs focus on helping you find safe, permanent housing first. Then, our case managers work one-on-one with you to set a plan to enable — and empower — a successful transition to productive and healthy civilian living.
