Be A Star Thrower: DONATE

Why is the Star Thrower story so perfect for Christmas? Think about it…

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

God sent His son into the world as a needy newborn, born in a manger. God sent His only son to this gritty, unkind world to live as we do. Jesus came into the world a completely helpless infant. God knows our worldly troubles and he wants us to help each other along the way.  In our world, it takes the full support of each of us to care for all others in our world. Thus the true meaning of Christmas.

“It is Christmas every time you let God love others through you … yes, it is Christmas every time you smile at your brother and offer him your hand.” Mother Teresa

Anyone can be a star thrower.  Nothing is too small or insignificant. A smile, helping a stranger, volunteering, or a small monthly gift to your favorite charity. What seems insignificant to you, may make all the difference for your brother and sister in need. Your actions lets God love others through you.

This Advent Season, be the hands and feet of Jesus. Make a difference in our community.
