Catholic Charities Kansas City – Saint Joseph is partnering with Lions Club on August 12th to give free eye exams and free eye glasses! This event will be hosted at our Kansas City office located at, 4001 Dr. Martian Luther King Jr. Blvd #250, Kansas City, MO 64130. From 11:00 am to 2:00 pm there will be doctors working to get free prescription glasses for those who need them. Each exams is approximately 15 minutes and includes check-in, eye charts, peripheral vision, tonometer, spot camera, and the dispensing of free glasses. In addition, we are accepting donations of used eyeglasses at select parishes in our diocese to pay it forward and to continue the mission of serving for the next event that the Lions Club hosts. They will be cleaned and refurbished to continue their life for the next person who needs them. There are 60 appointments available!
