Catholic Charities Emergency Assistance Fund: Donate to Larry’s Legacy

Our parishioners rallied around Larry, too. They bought him a bed, donated kitchen appliances, tables and lamps that made his new apartment a home. They helped him move into his new apartment.

Because Catholic Charities and our parish worked together, Larry was protected and found shelter for the rest of his days. None of us could have done it alone – but by surrounding him with a community of care, a circle of support, we kept this vulnerable man from becoming homeless.

It was wonderful seeing Catholic Charities Emergency Assistance Fund (CCEAF) in action. We donate to these programs and I saw firsthand how they prevented our friend from homelessness. A $150 payment from CCEAF drastically changed Larry’s life for the better. Doesn’t that go to show, no donation is too small to make a difference.
